摘要
This article is devoted to study peristaltic propulsion of particle suspended in Ree-Eyring fluid in a region where a constant magnetic field is applied. The governing flow problem is modelled for fluid phase and particle phase with the help of law of conservation of mass and momentum. It is assumed that flow is creeping and wave travelling along the wall has greater wavelength when compared with amplitude. The equations so obtained are coupled partial differential equations. The exact solutions using Eigen function expansion method is obtained and presented. The influence of all the physical parameters is discussed for Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid with the help of graphs. In the present analysis, it is observed that due to influence of Hartmann number, the magnitude of the velocity diminishes. (C) 2017 Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University.
