摘要
The excavation of a tunnel using a shield machine induces an impact on the tunnel lining responses and settlements. Three-dimensional finite difference calculations of twin horizontal tunnels are proposed in this study to investigate the influence of the shield machine's performance parameters, that is, support pressure at tunnel face, grouting pressure at the shield's tail, the conicity and the shield machine length, on the surface settlement and lining responses. The Hanoi metro line is used as a case study. The numerical results allow showing the importance of using appropriate performance parameters for the shield machine during the excavation. The critical values of the face pressure, grouting pressure and shield length for the case study considering the settlements and lining efforts are presented.
