CONTACT PROBLEM FOR A CYLINDRICAL JOINT WITH TECHNOLOGICAL FACETING OF THE CONTOURS OF ITS PARTS

摘要
We generalize the solution of the contact problem for a cylindrical joint whose parts are subjected to various types of weakly pronounced faceting (oval, trihedral, and tetrahedral) of the contours. Depending on the type of the joint, in the case of realization of two-region contact in the joint, we deduce the corresponding equation for the initial contact angle in each case by using the Cardano formula. The results of the numerical solution of the problem are used to study specific features of the influence of faceting of the contacting bodies on the type and parameters of contact.
