摘要
This article discusses the construction of a territoriality by the Caboclo (peasants of mixed ancestry) population living in the Araucaria Forest in Santa Catarina State, using their social, spatial and economic practices as factors of identification, defense and strength legitimated by memory. This territoriality started to lose its structure with the insertion of a new socio-spatial dynamics represented by the private appropriation of land, colonization and deforestation.
