摘要
Fog computing is gaining tremendous importance as a near to network edge storage and connectivity service to user. Fog computing has a big scope with Internet of Things. Integration of IoT and Fog might be a reliable pair for improved performance in term of latency. Mostly IoT devices are used to provide real-time and latency-sensitive service requirements. Due to the distance between client devices and data processing center the integration of IoT and cloud affect the performance of IoT devices. This paper introduces Fog-IoT model for integrating IoT devices with Fog computing. This integration model improves the performance of the IoT devices in term of latency. The focus of this paper is to introduce model for IoT integration with Fog, Harmonization of IoT in Fog to enhance the performance of IoT latency sensitive devices and future research opportunities for latency-sensitive environment in fog computing.
