摘要
For protecting Information Technology (IT) resources, security control is mainly based on perimeter defense and reactive strategies using Intrusion Detection, Intrusion Prevention with firewalls and anti-virus products. Factual events, with security breaches and stolen data, have shown us that this approach is inadequate. New proactive approach based on the concept of Moving Target Defense (MTD) should be considered as a complement to current cybersecurity protection. In this paper, we describe the SCIT-based MTD approach, which consists of continuous periodic cleansing of the computing nodes. By modeling the behavior of the system protected with MTD, we argue that security level can be improved in a predictive manner based on the velocity of the MTD.
