摘要
One of the main current concerns on the planet is related to the environment, particularly to climate change. On the other hand, the development of cities and their expansion is identified as one of the main causes contributing to the intensification of climate change. In this regard, the objective of this article is to study the relationship and communication between the international regime on climate change and the global governance on city planning. The research method for the elaboration of the article was the deductive approach. Thus, the development of this article was based on the understanding of the general concepts of the international regime and the global governance. This articles later identifies, according to the actions and activities of the different actors on the international stage, the existence of a global governance on city planning, whose development is closely related to the results and objectives of the international regime on climate change. In this sense, in addition to the existence of this form of global governance focused on city planning, this article shows that the decisions related to the development of cities, which seem only have local relevance, are currently being discussed on the international stage.
