摘要
Exact and rapid collision detection is very important for improving reality and enhancing immersion of the virtual environment. This paper will discuss the collision detection in Virtual Maintenance Training System (VMTS) and give a virtual maintenance-oriented multi-layer exact collision detection method which based on the analysis of complicated structure characteristics of certain missile equipment. At the same time, some collision detection algorithms that be used will be discussed along with introducing this method.
