摘要
Hardening of the gear type pumps parts is carried out by the plasma-electrolytic oxidation method. Items processing was done in standard "kappa OH-Na2SiO3" electrolyte during 120 min. The specially designed oxidizer and accessory were utilized. Hardening degree was estimated according to the results of bench and operational tests of the machined and genuine pumps. To reduce the period of bench tests process quartz powder of specific size was added into power fluid. The wear resistance increased in 1.5 - 1.9 times, the pump efficiency increased by 6-8%. The article gives the results of bench and operational tests of gear type pumps which are hardened by plasma-electrolytic oxidation.
