摘要：

Use of electrical heat-tracing systems in the chemical industry is discussed. The choice of electrical heat-tracing lies between resistance heating control and self-limiting systems. Heat-tracing system offer sophisticated temperature control and accurate monitoring functions. For the monitoring of the parameters and the operation and programming of a complex heat-tracing system of a software package is also provided in the system.
