摘要
Two tropical moss species, Hymenostylium crassinervium Broth. & Dix. (Pottiaceae) and Entodontopsis leucostega (Brid.) Buck & Ireland (Stereophyllaceae) are reported for the Arabian Peninsula. The two species are briefly described and illustrated. In addition, seven new country records, Mannia androgyna (L.) Evans (United Arab Emirates), Riccia crozalsii Lev. (United Arab Emirates) (Hepaticopsida), Brachymenium nepalense Hook. in Schwaegr. (Yemen), Bryum pseudotriquetrum (Hedw.) Gaertn., Meyer & Scherb (Saudi Arabia), Gymnostomum calcareum Nees & Hornsch. (United Arab Emirates), Leptobryum pyriforme (Hedw.) Wils. (United Arab Emirates), and Hypnum cupressiforme Hedw. (Saudi Arabia) (Bryopsida) are reported, all representing major range extensions.
