摘要
The present study aims to investigate radiation shielding, physical, structural, and mechanical qualities of the marble concrete via the FLUKA code, newly developed Phy-X/PSD software, and analytical method. In the present work, these characteristics are explored for four types of marble concretes namely, MC0%, MC10%, MC20%, and MC25%. Findings show that the thinnest MC25% is needed to reduce the initial intensity to half of it, and as a result, less volume of selected shielding material is required. In addition, the Energy Absorption Buildup Factor (EABF) and Exposure Buildup Factor (EBF) reach the highest values at 40 mfp for MC10%. Moreover, the Transmission Factor (TF) related to the marble concrete samples illustrates that by increasing the energy, the samples' efficiency will reduce. Furthermore, using Makishima-Mackenzie Model (MMM), structural and mechanical properties of selected shielding materials are evaluated. The outcomes depict that the elastic moduli decrease from MC0% to MC25%. Also, the largest values of mechanical moduli require the highest values of bond dissociation energy (Gt) for various marble concrete samples.
