摘要
A crack propagation analysis was performed in the context of finite elastodynamics. A straight crack, growing suddenly at constant velocity in a thin sheet of compressible neo-Hookean material was specifically studied. The local formulation of the two-dimensional boundary-initial-value problem was stated. The local motion field around the moving crack-tip was analyzed by asymptotic analysis.
