摘要
Structural health monitoring plays an important role in protecting civil infrastructures. Smart film bionic monitoring method and video image monitoring method have advantages of high speed and perceptual intuition, so they have been well applied in structural health monitoring. However, the two methods are difficult in detecting structural stress condition and limited in some monitoring aspects. In this paper, a structural health monitoring method and system based on piezoelectric element array is proposed. The experiments show it can detect structural stress condition effectively and display the results by matrix images directly.
