摘要:
Field experiment was conducted at Experimental farm, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar, during February-April 2005 to study the influence of chemical and mechanical methods on weed control and productivity of sesame in rice fallow. The results indicated the application of alachlor @ 1.5 kg ha(-1) at 1 DAS + hand hoeing at 30 DAS controlled weeds effectively. The plant height, number of branches plant(-1), number of capsules plant(-1) and seed yields were influenced by different weed control methods.
