摘要
Flat-topped element pattern is introduced firstly. Then the grating-lobe suppression mechanism of using shaping the flat-topped pattern is analyzed with application range defined. A set of circular patches structures which act as slow wave structures arranged over rectangular horn are designed, and the reflection performance is optimized by tuning size and spacing of the patches. Finally, simulation and measurement results show that it is achieved the grating-lobe suppression under beam scanning within the sector +/- 20 degrees comparing to ordinary design, which verify the validity of our design.
