摘要：
The policy adopted by the journal Information Systems Research (ISR) on publishing special issues, is discussed. For submission of proposals for special issues, such proposals must be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief for approval. The proposal must by submitted by April 15th of each calendar year. The Editor-in-chief will make each proposal available to the Senior Editor for special issues. Proposers of a special issue must provide a draft call for papers to the Editor-in-Chief and the call papers must clearly specify the goals and topic areas of the special issue. Special issue proposers must be open to the submission of all types of manuscripts.
