摘要：
A 76-year-old man presented with weakness of the right shoulder following a typical herpes tester infection in the territory of the right Cg root. Clinical and electromyographic findings indicated a neurogenic lesion. The outcome was slowly favorable. The characteristics of motor loss in the limbs during herpes tester infection are reviewed and a number of pathogenic mechanisms are discussed.
