摘要
One-pot, three-component condensation reaction between (phenylsulfonyl)acetonitrile, aromatic aldehydes, and -naphthol for preparation of 4-(aryl)-3-(phenylsulfonyl)-4H-benzo[h]chromen-2-amine derivatives has been reported. The method involves domino Knoevenagel condensation/Michael addition, and cyclization cascade. The reaction was performed in glycerol, which is a commercially available, inexpensive and non-toxic compound. High purity of the products, very high yields and wide scope of substrates are advantages of this protocol. [GRAPHICS] .
