Modelling simulation and characteristics of a Mono PERC solar cell under environmental condition

摘要
One of the most promising renewable energy sources is solar energy. Recently it plays a major role among the other renewables like wind, biomass, tidal, ocean energy etc. throughout the world. Important of photovoltaics (PV) through semiconductor technology spreads everywhere. For correct evaluation and performance analysis of a solar module, a quality modelling is necessary. In this paper single diode solar cell model with mathematical equations is presented. Also, the performance of a mono PERC solar module is studied using the manufacturer datasheet and is compared to it through simulated data. The whole work is established through Matlab simulation and efficiency, fill factor is found from I -V and P-V characteristics varying environmental parameter like temperature and sun irradiance. In the end, conclusions are drawn.
