摘要
The sandstorm is one kind of common disastrous weather phenomenon in Northwestern, and the researches of the sandstorm tendency's forecasting have already become hot topic and focused problem. The article mentioned the novel methods-- fuzzy cluster analysis and fractal theory, and briefly introduced these two method's basic theory and basic process. Based on Gansu province's eight areas' seven kinds meteorological elements' average value data, these eight areas have been divided into five kinds by their similarities, and Minqin is the most representative area. The observation of sandstorm collected from the Minqin meteorological station is utilized in this article. We analysis 37 years, the fractal character of the sandstorm's time series, and using the fractal theory to predict Year 06,07,08's sandstorm trend which have been verified. And the practice shows that the combination with better combining abilities is and reliable, which will cast a positive effect to the sandstorm prediction.
