摘要
The interaction of slow and highly charged Ne9+ with solids is considered. A cascade model to determine the filling of the hollow atoms developed using a set of rate equations is presented. Included are theoretical calculations of the screening of highly charged ions in a jellium and calculated transition rates of the electron transfer in the collision regime.
