摘要
An assessment model of the drought sensitivity is constructed in this study by the analysis of major elements contributing to the drought, such as the soil texture, land use, dryness and terrain. To obtain the regionalization of the drought sensitivity in Henan province, different values are set to the weight of each element and GIS is applied to assess the risk and sensitivity of drought. It takes account of both the aggregated influence of those elements and the difference of the weight of each element. The regionalization may benefit the theoretic thinking and the practice of the analysis and prevention of the drought. It is demonstrated from the regionalization of the drought sensitivity that the indices in the east Henan, the bank of Yellow river and its southern region, and part of the southwest Henan is high; the drought sensitivity in the south Henan, the remote mountains of the southwest Henan, water body region and part of the east Henan is low.
