摘要
Sold-state microphotonics allows to build circuits which transform w light beams in a unitary way. Such a circuit transforms a w-dimensional complex vector by means of a unitary w x w matrix. For the synthesis of the optical circuit, we can learn a lot from properties of quantum circuits, subject to adaptation of the interpretation of the matrix decompositions.
