Newly developed stainless steels provide increased corrosion resistance, improved mechanical properties, easier forming and fabrication, and/or improved economy. This report is from "Stainless Steels for the New Millennium, " a paper presented at the NACE Corrosion 2001 conference in March in Houston, Texas.
