The forward problem of magnetic survey for 3-D bodies of complex configuration with anisotropic magnetic susceptibility

摘要
Solutions to the forward problem of magnetometry for an arbitrarily truncated vertical rectangular prism and a quadrangular truncated pyramid with anisotropic or isotropic magnetic susceptibility are given. The solutions are intended for the study of structural and ore-bearing geological media from magnetic field data. A combined application of similar solutions known in gravity and geothermal surveys facilitates the construction of local and regional integrated geophysical models from geological and geophysical data.
