摘要
The reference to Aristotle, to his theses and to his analyses, in order to understand the crises of his time and even of ours, may, at a first glance, seem surprising. However, if one is aware of the key categories for analyzing the structures of the society and of the state, one will perceive that the philosopher's suggestions are really valid for the modes of action in modern societies. The value of mesotes, which connects freedom to slavery and to human virtue as well, constitutes for Aristotle the starting point for envisaging the problems emerging from the political and economic administration of public affairs. The author of this study starts from the definition of term crisis as a noetic category, in order to suggest that the conclusions one may get from its application are surprisingly pertinent for an explanation and an understanding of our contemporary crises.
