Numerical modelling of two-dimensional turbulent air-water flows with evaporation

摘要
A theoretical model of two-dimensional turbulent air-water flows with evaporation is proposed based on the concept of Stefan flux, and the numerical simulation has been carried out by using the turbulence model and the SIMPLE algorithm. The results show effect of gas velocity, air-water temperature difference and relative humidity on evaporation. Most of the predicted results are in qualitative agreement with experiments, and very useful in oil and water environment engineering.
