摘要
A NH4+ transport-defective mutant and a K+ transport-defective mutant of the cyanobacterium Nostoc muscorum were analysed with regard to percentage survival as a function of CsCl toxicity and Cs+ uptake activity. Neither survival nor Cs+ uptake was affected in either of the two mutants when compared with the wild type. The results indicate that the toxicity of Cs+ is determined at more than one cellular site in this organism.
