Scavenging of es- and OH• radicals in concentrated HCl and NaCl aqueous solutions

摘要
In neutral and acidic aqueous solutions containing 2 mol L (1) of Cl , the decay of the solvated electron and the formation of ClOH(center dot) and Cl(2)(center dot-) were studied by picosecond pulse radiolysis experiment. The rate constant for the reaction of e(s)(-) and H(3)O(+) is 1.3 x 10(10) L mol (1) s (1). The yield of the OH(center dot) radical at 100ps is estimated to be 5.0 x 10 (7) mol J (1).
