Authors et al.'s works (1992-2003) are reviewed, 21 refs., covering POLGEL hydrogel dressings, pi-electron conjugated skeleton polymers used in optoelectronics, and polyelectrolytes and catalysts used in environmental protection, e.g., surfactants used to regenerate industrial waters, stabilizers preventing the deposition of sediments in cooling towers, polymeric complexes used as oxidation catalysts, and oxide systems as catalysts for complete oxidn of org. compds.
