摘要
A method for refractive: index adaptive gridding in finite-difference time-domain methods is presented. This method allows highly efficient simulation of structures consisting homogeneous regions with large differences in refractive index and planar interfaces which are frequently encountered when modeling photodetectors, sensors, etc., on which light impinges from vacuum.
