Synthesis, molecular structure and characterizations of a novel 2D metal diphosphonate complex

摘要
A novel metal diphosphonate complex [Co-3(H(2)aedp)(2) (Haedp)(2)(H2O)(4)center dot 2H(2)O](n) (1) [H(2)aedp(-) =CH3C(NH3)(PO3H)(2), Haedp(2-) = CH3C(NH3)(PO3)(PO3H)] has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. Crystal data: 1, monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 27.875(6) angstrom, b = 7.1417(14) angstrom, c = 19.913(4) angstrom, beta = 118.43(3)degrees, Z = 4. Complex 1 exhibits a 2-dimensional layer structure with stair-like configuration. Magnetic properties of the compound have been investigated. It shows typical antiferromagnetic behaviors.
