摘要
Let G be a graph of order n with vertices labeled as v(1), v(2),..,v(n). Let d(i) be the degree of the vertex v(i) for i = 1,2,...,n. The (first) Zagreb matrix of G is the square matrix of order n whose (i, j)-entry is equal to d(i) + d(j) if v(i) is adjacent to v(j) and zero otherwise. We introduce and investigate the Zagreb energy and Zagreb Estrada index of a graph, both base on the eigenvalues of the Zagreb matrix. In addition, we establish upper and lower bounds for these new graph invariants, and relations between them.
