Volume expansion and Curie temperature enhancement in R3(Fe,M)29Zx (M=Cr,Ti and Z=N,C) compounds

摘要
In the present paper, a study on the effect of the volume change due to nitrogenation and carbonation on the Curie temperature of R-3(Fe, M)(29) (M=Cr, Ti) compounds has been performed. The d ln T-C/d In V values were derived by comparing the change of the Curie temperature and the unit cell volume before and after nitrogenation and carbonation. Our results indicate that the relationship between d ln T-C /d ln V and the Curie temperature T-C can be well described in terms of the itinerant-model formalism. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
