摘要
The age-hardening characteristics of heat-treatable Al-Si-base cast alloys have been investigated in this paper. When aging treatment exceeds a fixed temperature, two and one hardness peaks present in ageing curves of different tested alloys respectively. The result of TEM observation and DSC analyses proved that the characteristics of age-hardening curves are related to the precipitation sequences of tested alloys. For A354 alloy, obvious interval during the transition from GPII zones to meta-stable phases is the main reason for two peaks aging, the first hardness peak of age hardening curve is attained depending on the high-density GPII zone, while the second one is acquired in terms of theta' and beta'mate-stable grains.
