摘要
The presented article details a self-developed system for user presence monitoring either while lying in a bed or when sitting in a chair. Real-time information from the pressure sensor matrix is accessible via a website and customizable user-alerts are available. Apart from monitoring user presence, the system can also be used to gain insight into the anatomical well-being of the user - e.g. to detect scoliosis or other anatomical abnormalities. Planned future additions will include pre-fall detection based on user behavior analysis and extension of the pressure sensor network.
