摘要：

Four homologous series of p-phenyldiacetylene-type liquid crystals containing bicyclohexene were prepared and characterized. Textural observations by polarizing microscopy and DSC measurements of the phase transitions showed that most compounds were thermotropic liquid crystals with nematic phase or nematic and smectic A phases; The relationship between the mesomorphic properties and chemical structures of these compounds is discussed.
