摘要：

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the incidence of medical complications during post stroke rehabilitation and find correlation between level of self - dependence in daily living activities, age, sex of patients and period of time from onset of stroke. We examined 498 patients after stroke during stationary rehabilitation program at the neurological rehabilitation ward. Most patients undergoing post stroke rehabilitation develop at least one medical complication. They occur more frequently up to three months from onset of stroke in a group of less self-dependent patients (up to 10 points in Barthel Index).
