摘要
This work presents an equivalent circuit to analyze passive intermodulation (PIM) behavior in planar inverted F antenna (PIFA). The proposed circuit model is based on a capacitance, a nonlinear resistance and an inductance in parallel connection. By theoretical analysis, metal contact area and state make a great sense on PIM level of PIFA. Measurement results show that a larger metal contact area in PIFA feeding usually has a beneficial effect on PIM performance. The methodology and experimental conclusion provide a reference method for the modeling of metal contact nonlinearity, and has considerable guiding significance for PIM suppression in mobile communication terminal products.
