摘要
A computer program has been developed for prediction of the effective bath Al level using all the necessary line operation information as input. The program suggests when and what kind of continuous galvanizing grade alloy ingot to add to the bath in order to maintain the effective bath Al at a targeted level. The program can be used together with an Al sensor, and the combination of the two provides an excellent basis for monitoring and controlling bath operation. Using the output of a thermocouple measuring the bath temperature as input, the program can also act as a `virtual Al sensor', vividly displaying current Al level in the bath along with a group forecasting bath Al contents over the course of the production run.
