On the Curriculum Integration of Mechanics of Engineering Management

The earliest attention on curriculum integration derives from the concept of curriculum design originated in Europe. In recent years, curriculum integration has got further affirmed in the field of education and has aroused a series of research and discussion of the relevant theories with fruitful results. The curriculum of engineering management is also undergoing such a process. However, at present, most of the work remains at such macro spheres as upgrading the technological and managerial knowledge, with foundation courses left undiscussed. No progress or efficiency would be achieved without a solid foundation in the long run. The article will give an analysis of the curriculum integration pattern of mechanics, the foundation course of engineering management from a new perspective, partially using the author's experience in teaching the course of engineering management as samples, in hope of contributing to the improvement of the overall teaching efficiency of engineering management.
