Determination of eleven elements in drinking water by ICP-AES

摘要
A method for the determination of Pb, As, Cu, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cr, Cd, Ag, Al and Se in drinking water by ICP-AES (Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectroscopy) has been developed in this study. The nebulizer rate and sensitivity were improved by using an ultrasonic nebulizer. The plasma parameters, acid concentration, wavelength selection, background reduction and interelement effects were studied for optimization. The correlation coefficient, relative standard deviation and recovery of the method were 0.999 3 - 0.999 8, 2.8% - 9.8% and 90.0% - 109.7% respectively. This method is sensitive, accurate, simple for analysis of Pb, As etc. in drinking water.
