摘要
This paper presents an application developed to aid consumers choosing a proper energy tariff option based on their power consumption profile. The application also gives the feasibility of installing a generator in order to reduce the consumption on peak period. In Brazil there are three modalities of tariffs, which are regulated by ANEEL, the Brazilian agency for electric energy regulation, and these three are presented in detail on this work. Another topic that will be explored on this paper is the demand side management (DSM), which gives methods for a better usage of electric energy.
