摘要
The paper presents issues concerning aluminium sheets adhesive joints strength. The aim of the work was to determine the strength of analysed joints basing on experimental tests, as well as on finite elements numerical analysis (FEA), of high importance to operating properties of the construction. The type of adhesive joint tested was a single-lap joint, adhereneds were 2024PLT3 and 7075PLT0 aluminium alloy sheets, tested in loading which creates shear across the bondlie. The numerical analysis was based on spatial adhesive joints models created with cohesive elements. The programme used in the analysis was ABAQUS/Standard. The conducted research simulated adhesive failure and adhesive failure initiation point.
