Diamond detectors for spectrometric measurements of fusion plasma products

摘要
The general purpose of this paper is to show recent results of experimental work on a spectrometric response of diamond detectors for fusion diagnostics applications. Worldwide experiments on the measurements of tokamak plasma products have shown the complexity of the subject as well as the challenges for the future ITER project. Spectrometric measurements of fusion products under a high temperature and strong radiation field require powerful instruments like diamond detectors based on high purity CVD crystals. Diamond detector as a pretender for ITER diagnostics has been tested according to mixed radiation field and high temperature up to 250 degrees C at IFJ PAN, Krakow, Poland. The mixed radiation field has been created using a pulsed fast neutron generator IGN14 in IFJ PAN. In addition, an energy-angle distributions of fusion products have been measured.
