摘要
Modular methods to direct the molecular packing of aromatic organic chromophores are essential for understanding the subtle principles needed to predict intermolecular interactions and design uniform, efficient organic optoelectronic devices. Here we demonstrate that layered two-dimensional metal organic frameworks, based on the copper paddlewheel and 5-aryl isophthalate ligands, can alter the interstitial packing of the aryl groups and template new packing motifs for the small acenes.
