Oxide bridged early-late metal organometallics: the synthesis of complexes with W-O-Ru and W-O-P bridges

摘要
Reaction of the tungsten oxo acetylide complex Cp*W(O)(2)CCPh with Ru-4(CO)(12-13)[PN(Pr-i)(2)] affords two oxo bridged metal clusters eta(5)-Cp*p*W(mu-O) Ru-4(CO)(9)(mu-CO)[mu(3)-eta(2)-OPN(Pr-i)(2)][mu(3)-eta(2)-OPN(Pr-i)(2)](mu(4)-eta(2)-CCPh) 2 and eta(5)-Cp*p*W(mu-O)(2)Ru-4(CO)(10)[mu(3)-PN(Pr-i)(2)](mu(5)-eta(2)-CCPh) 3 X-ray analysis shows that 2 has a single W-O-Ru oxide bridge and contains a bridging diisopropylaminophosphinidoxo ligand while in 3 both oxide ligands bridge W-Ru bonds.
