摘要：
This article provides a focussed overview of unusual musculoskeletal infections, specifically the fungi, viruses, and parasites that are associated with bone, joint, and muscle pathology. The common radiologic-pathologic processes of musculoskeletal infections are described and correlated with gamuts of these unusual infective agents. Each class of agents is then discussed with respect to specific infective agents and their epidemiologic, clinical, and radiologic characteristics.
