摘要
Once the three-phase open-winding motor (TOM) drive system suffers from single open-leg fault, it can be regarded as this TOM is fed by a five-leg converter (FLC) after leg-sharing reconstruction. In this paper, a virtual voltage vector-based space vector modulation (V3-SVM) scheme for the TOM drive with FLC is investigated. It guarantees that the TOM can operate under single open-leg fault with just a slight reduction of the feasible region. The modulation of the zero-sequence subspace is still kept simultaneously. Firstly, based on the topology of the TOM drive with the FLC, the corresponding space voltage vector distribution is depicted in different subspaces. Subsequently, six basic voltage vectors without zero-sequence components are selected to modulate in the alpha-beta subspace. Meanwhile, two V(3)s with zero-sequence components only are designed to modulate in zero-sequence subspace. Therefore, the modulations in different subspaces are decoupled, which provides the TOM drive with the ability to modulate in both the alpha-beta and zero-sequence subspaces under single open-leg fault operation. At last, open-loop and closed-loop experimental results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed V-3-SVM scheme for the TOM drive with FLC.
